Master
John Hus once said about himself:
“Since
the beginning of my studies I have made it a principle
that whenever I find a more correct opinion, I will waive
the less correct one of mine and I will accept the better-founded
opinion humbly and with joy. What we know is but a tiny
fraction of what we do not know.”
The Israeli king Solomon wrote in his famous Book of Proverbs:
“It
is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings
is to search out a matter.”
We would like to use the wisdom of these great men to inspire you and at the
same time to invite you, on behalf of the Maranatha unincorporated association to meet one such “king” who was accorded with the
privilege to examine and discover the matters hidden, understand them
and carry them on.
For nine evenings you will hear the most interesting ideas from the field of
natural science, philosophy, history and religion presented by the main
guest of this unique conference, zoologist prof. Dr. Waltera J. Veitha from Cape Town (South Africa). He will lecture on and discuss mainly the issues
of the origin and the future of the universe, life and humanity,
both from the point of view of evolution and creation. Come and see us
at
the South Hall of Prague Congress Centre, where the main arguments
of both approaches and their impact on the life of the individual and
the whole society will be presented. Come and become a part of this exceptional
event!
